ASIATRUST CELEBRATES ITS 10TH YEAR AS A PSE-LISTED COMPANY

Asiatrust Bank (ATB) was recently honored by the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) in its 10th Year anniversary as a publicly listed company (PSE-Listed: ASIA).
Asiatrust Bank became a publicly listed company and concluded its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in October 1996, making it the first private development bank to raise equity from the Capital Market. To commemorate the occasion, PSE President and CEO Francisco Ed Lim awarded the Bank with a plaque of recognition accepted by Chairperson Gloria Garcia, followed by the ringing of the opening bell by ATB board members and executive officers. Said event was held at the trading floor of the Philippine Stock Exchange Centre in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. Asiatrust Bank is ranked as the 5th largest thrift bank in the Philippines with total resources of P14.3B as of 30 June 2006 up by 9% a year ago. It relies on its 46 years of experience in dealing with the SME market, and its focused approached to stay ahead of competition.
